School is over, the weather is terrible and my nailpolish inspiration is low

how much better could it be?

I've had a busy time last month

I had my exams so there was no time left for nailpolish

Luckily I finished my exams this week!

Although it is summer, the weather is terrible

but to keep the summer vibe I made a summer nail art

Het schooljaar is afgelopen, het weer is vreselijk en mijn nagellak inspiration ontbreekt

kan het nog beter?

Ik heb een drukke maand achter de rug

Ik had mijn schoolexamens en ik had geen tijd meer voor mijn nagels

Gelukkig ben ik nu klaar met mijn examens!

Alhoewel het zomer is, is het weer vreselijk

maar om het zomer gevoel te behouden, heb ik een zomerse nail art gemaakt

I've used:

- Hema 809 (white)

- Primark ® Beauty - Neon Yellow

- LeMax colour - Black striper

It is a very cheerful nail art and easy to make

Hello May

May started today, that means:

sun, festivals, fun and bright colored nails

Neon colors are the colors of this summer!

Vandaag is de maand mei begonnen, dat betekent:

zon, festivals, plezier en fel gekleurde nagels

Neon kleuren zijn dé kleuren deze zomer!

I've used:

- Primark® Beauty - Neon Green

- Catrice - Genius In The Bottle 840

- Catrice - It's Rambo No. 5 670

I started with a neon green base

and lacquered a triangle on the left side of the top of my nail (It's Rambo No. 5)

On the right side of the top of my nail I lacquered another triangle (Genius In The Bottle)

It's a very easy nail art and you can use every color you want!

Ik ben begonnen met een neon groene basis

en daarover heen heb ik aan de linker kant van de top van mijn nagel 

een driehoek gelakt (It's Rambo No. 5)

Aan de rechter kant van de top van mijn nagel heb ik een andere 

driehoek gelakt (Genius In The Bottle)

Het is een simpele nail art en je kan elke kleur gebruiken die je wilt!

First Time Neon Nailart

In decembre I bought four neon polishes at the primark

I've never used them before, only for a swatch post

So I decided to use one of them

In december had ik vier neon lakjes gekocht bij de primark

Ik heb ze tot nu toe alleen nog maar gebruikt voor een swatch post

dus ik besloot om ze eens te gaan gebruiken

I've used:
- Primark® Beauty - Neon Pink
- Catrice - Goldfinger 650
- LeMax colour - black (striper)

After lacquering my nails neon pink,
I made three triangles, one on my ringfinger
and two on my thumb.
I made a black line around them
It's really easy!

Nadat ik mijn nagels neon roze had gelakt,
heb ik drie driehoekjes op mijn nagels gelakt
twee op mijn duim die elkaar overlappen en eentje op mijn ringvinger
Deze heb ik zwart omlijnd
Deze nail art is heel makkelijk!

Neon Swatches

 I bought four bottles of neon nailpolish at the Primark

It was my first visit at the Primark!

I thought it was a nice idea to do a swatch-post

Ik heb laatst 4 neon nagellakjes gekocht bij de Primark

Het was mijn eerste keer bij de Primark!

Het leek me wel een leuk idee om er een swatch-post van te maken

Neon Pink, my favorite of the four

Neon Roze, mijn favoriete van de vier nagellakjes

Neon Yellow, this one doesn't cover very good

Neon geel, helaas dekt deze niet zo goed

Neon Green, I like this one for the summer

Neon Groen, deze vind ik erg leuk voor de zomer

Neon Orange, looks a lot like the neon pink

Neon oranje, deze lijkt heel erg op de roze

Conclusion:

Some of the polishes doesn't cover very well, 

you have to use three layer before you have a better coverage

I like neon colors a lot, but I don't wear them often

just because they don't fit with my clothes

Anyway they are very funny and summery!

Conclusie:

Sommige lakjes dekken niet goed

je moet soms drie lagen gebruiken voordat je een goeie dekking hebt

Ik vind neon kleuren erg leuk, maar ik heb ze niet vaak op

omdat ze meestal niet bij mijn kleding passen

hoe dan ook zijn ze er leuk en zomers!

Pink Galaxy

I really liked my Galaxy post 

so I decided to do it with other color

I chose pink and added a pearl 

I've used:

- Kiko - 289

- NYC - Platinum Card 150

- Essence - Enchanted Fairy 36

- Essence -Ultimate Pink 08

- Kiss nail art - Bikini Pink SPA15

- Catrice - Put Lavender On Agenda 770

- Primark Beauty (Neon Pink)

and my favorite top coat

- Catrice - Quick Dry & High Shine

I did it the same way I did the other Galaxy post

So you have to use a make-up sponge and pat it softly on your nail

repeat this several times with different colors 

until you have the design you wanted

For the pearl you have to use a top/base coat

drip some on the place you want the pearl

then carefully push the pearl into the drop and let it dry

laquer two layers of top coat over the pearl 

and your pearl will last for a week or longer
