Mint Panther

It has been a really long time ago

I'm sorry for that, 

but I went on holiday to Greece and I was really busy with school :(

In the meanwhile I didn't do a lot of nail art

Just a few swatches, which I didn't photograph 

But last friday I had time to polish my nails!

My inspiration is very low at the moment,

IDEAS ARE ALWAYS WELCOME!

Happily I found some inspiration on Instagram again

Het is een hele tijd geleden, sorry!

Ik ben op vakantie geweest naar Griekenland en ik had het erg 

druk met school :(

De laatste tijd heb ik ook niet zo veel nail art gedaan

Een paar simpele swatches die ik niet heb gefotografeerd

afgelopen vrijdag tijd om mijn nagels te doen!

Helaas het ik heel weinig inspiratie

INSPIRATIE IS ALTIJD WELKOM!

gelukkig vond ik wat inspiratie op Instagram, al weer

I like the color combination

I think I did this combination once before...

I've used:

- NYC - Mint Macaroon 253

- Kiko - Holographic 401

- LeMax colour - Black (striper)

To make the panther pattern, I've used a dotting pen and a striper

make some little stripes around the dots

and the panther pattern is ready

easy as that!

Om het panter patroon te maken heb ik een dotting pen

en een striper gebruikt.

Om de stippen heen zet je een paar kleine lijnen

en het patroon is af!

Confetti Party

A few weeks ago I've bought a new polish

It's a top coat with black and white confetti in it

it's from the brand L'oréal paris

I think it was an special edition, because I've never seen

this kind of polish from L'oréal paris

I combined it with pink and grey

Een paar weken geleden heb ik een nieuw lakje gekocht

Het is een top coat met zwarte en witte confetti er in

Het is van L'oréal paris

Ik denk dat het een speciale editie is, want ik heb deze

soort nagellakjes nog nooit gezien van L'oréal paris

Ik heb dit lakje gecombineerd met roze en grijs

I've used:

- Hema 807 (pink)

- Kiko 328 (grey)

- L'oréal Paris Color Riche Confettis 916

It's a very nice polish with a good coverage and brush

I really recommend this polish!

Hello May

May started today, that means:

sun, festivals, fun and bright colored nails

Neon colors are the colors of this summer!

Vandaag is de maand mei begonnen, dat betekent:

zon, festivals, plezier en fel gekleurde nagels

Neon kleuren zijn dé kleuren deze zomer!

I've used:

- Primark® Beauty - Neon Green

- Catrice - Genius In The Bottle 840

- Catrice - It's Rambo No. 5 670

I started with a neon green base

and lacquered a triangle on the left side of the top of my nail (It's Rambo No. 5)

On the right side of the top of my nail I lacquered another triangle (Genius In The Bottle)

It's a very easy nail art and you can use every color you want!

Ik ben begonnen met een neon groene basis

en daarover heen heb ik aan de linker kant van de top van mijn nagel 

een driehoek gelakt (It's Rambo No. 5)

Aan de rechter kant van de top van mijn nagel heb ik een andere 

driehoek gelakt (Genius In The Bottle)

Het is een simpele nail art en je kan elke kleur gebruiken die je wilt!

Queensday

It's one big party in the Netherlands!

Yesterday I celebrated Queensnight with my friends

and today it's Queensday

The national color of the Netherlands is orange

So I though I should do something with this color!

Het is een groot feest in Nederland!

Gisteren heb ik Koninginnenacht gevierd met mijn vriendinnen

en vandaag is het Koninginnedag met natuurlijk de kroonswissel!

Heel Nederland is oranje gekleurd 

dus mijn nagels ook!

I've used:

- Hema 809 (white)

- Kiko 358 (orange)

- pearls

I started with a white colored base

And made the ombré with a make up sponge

just like the other ombré nail art (pink sunset) I made

I have a pearl on each nail as finishing touch

en ik heb deze ombré hezelfde gemaakt als mijn

vorige ombré nail art (pink sunset)

Op elke nagel heb ik een parel als finishing touch

A while ago I saw this nail art somewhere

I thought it was really cool, but it looks really difficult

 I found a tutorial on youtube and she explains how to make them

(start watching at 4:00)

I didn't chose the right colors,

they are too dark I think

Although it looks nice

Een tijdje geleden zag ik deze nail art 

Ik vond het er erg leuk uit zien, maar wel moeilijk

Ik vond een tutorial op youtube, waar wordt uitgelegd hoe je ze maakt

(begin met kijken bij 4:00)

Ik vind zelf dat ik niet de goede kleuren heb gekozen

ze zijn te donken samen

Maar het ziet er als nog leuk uit

I've used:

- Essence - Hazelnut Cream Pie 01

- Only You - Banana Split 113

- Catrice - Planet Tokyo 
- Kiko 238 (red)

I used hazelnut cream pie as base coat

and started with the darker colors first

After this nail art my table was one big mess

I really recommend taping your fingers, 

because the nail polish goes everywhere!

en ik ben daarna eerst verder gegaan met de donkere kleuren

Na het maken van deze nail art was mijn tafel een grote rommel

Ik waarschuw je: plak je vinger af met plakband!

want de nagellak vliegt overal heen waar het heen kan!

Spring is in the air

Last week I made a this cute nail art

with spring-like colors

I was inspired by a post on pinterest

I made good quality photos, but unfortunately my

sister deleted them (again) 

I luckily made photos with my mobile a few minute after lacquering

Afgelopen week had ik deze schattige nail art

met lenteachtige kleurtjes

Ik was geïnspireerd door een post op pinterest

Ik had goede foto's gemaakt, maar helaas heeft mijn

zusje die (alweer) verwijderd

Gelukkig had ik nog foto's gemaakt vlak na het lakken

I've used:

- Catrice - Berlin Big City Life C02

- NYC - Mint Macaroon 253

- NYC - Platinum Card 150

- Essence - Broadway Starlet 04 colorpigments

I started with Mint Macaroon as base coat, except my ringfinger

I used Platinum Card and Broadway Starlet for that finger 

I lacquered a diagonal line with Platinum Card over Mint Macaroon

After drying, I lacquered an other diagonal in the opposite direction with Berlin

I finished it with a top coat

This nail art is not very hard, but you can also used tape 

if you want more precise lines

Ik ben begonnen met een basis van Mint Macaroon, behalve mijn ringvinger

Die vinger heb ik met Platinum Card en Broadway Starlet gedaan

Ik lakte een diagonale lijn met Platinum Card over Mint Macaroon

Na het drogen, lakte ik in de tegengestelde richting een diagonale lijn met Berlin

Het is geen moeilijke nail art,

maar je kan ook plakband gebruiken voor preciezere lijnen

Super Sweet

It's been a while, writing on my blog

But I was very busy with school and everything

so I had little time for my nails and blog

I did lacquer my nails though

The next nail art is very sweet and cute

Actually a little too sweet and cute

I removed it after one day already

Het is een tijdje geleden dat ik op mijn blog heb geschreven

Ik was erg druk met school en van alles,

dat ik weinig tijd had voor mijn nagels en blog

Desondanks heb ik wel een paar nail arts gemaakt

De volgende nail art is erg lief en schattig

Eigenlijk een beetje té lief en schattig,

dat ik het er na één dag al af had gehaald

 *Google doesn't work very well, so my photo's are turned 90 degrees*

I've used:

- Hema 807 (light pink)

- Kiko 289 (dark pink)

- NYC - Platinum Card 150

 I wanted to make an animal nail art

but after lacquering my pink and ringfinger, I was out of ideas

I made this nail art with a nail art pen

and a little pencil

It's actually an easy nail art

I just needed some more inspiration

maar nadat ik mijn pink en ringvinger had gelakt, waren mijn ideeën op

Ik heb deze nail art gemaakt met een nail art pen (bol pen) 

en een klein penseeltje

Het is eigenlijk een hele simpele nail art

Ik had alleen wat meer inspiratie nodig
